Patricia Ann Coplin Mann “Nanny Pat”, 71, passed away early Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Katy, Texas surrounded by loved ones after a long battle of medical issues since April. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper at 3:00 p.m. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Pat moved to Jasper around the age of 15, and was a long-time resident until 2014 when she moved to Sour Lake, Texas to be closer to her daughter and grandkids. She was a 1970 graduate of Jasper High School, a long-time member of Peachtree Baptist Church and Tanglewood Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her mother Shirley Mae Gunter Griffin, father David Coplin, Aunt DaWanda Gunter, Uncle Malcom Mack “Sonny” Gunter, and Step-Dad Arthur Brewster.

She is survived by her daughter Julia Mann Sonnier & husband Clint of Sour Lake, Texas; aunt Joyce Gunter of Spurger, Texas; grandsons Curtis Sonnier, U.S. Navy Norfolk, Virginia, Zachary Sonnier of Sour Lake, Texas, and Dakota McNair, whom she always claimed as a grandson, of Sour Lake, Texas; as well as countless cousins and friends.
