A celebration of L.T. “Bob” Brewster’s life, age 90, of Jasper, will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 7 , 2019, at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, TX with burial to follow at Brookeland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the funeral home.

Bob died on June 4, 2019 at his home in Jasper. A native of Brookeland and longtime resident of Jasper, former resident of Pasadena. He was a veteran who served in the 5th US Army Airforce during World War II. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 39 years and 10 months of employment as a service technician. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was the founder of 20 Odd Sportsman Hunting Club in Jasper, a member of the V.F.W. Post 6380 and American Legion Post 78 in Jasper. He was an ABBA (American Brahman Breeders Association) member for many years.

Bob is survived by his son Roscoe Brewster and wife, Susan, of Jasper, TX; daughter, Donna Baker and husband, David, of Nacogdoches, TX; a brother Jerry Brewster of Kirbyville, TX; six grandchildren, Jeremy Brewster and wife, Holly, Katie Davis and husband, Justin, JoDee Baker Woodcock and husband, Clint, Jared Baker and wife, Jennessa, Jenny Baker, and Justin Baker; seven great grandchildren, Koby Lamar Groves, Bo Tildon Brewster, Kamden Whitfield Davis, Callie Jo Woodcock, Cara Jean Woodcock, Harrison Smith Baker, and Miles Ray Baker.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years & 10 months, Syble Jo Brewster; his parents Tildon and Azalee Brewster; a brother J.B. Brewster; two sisters, Louise Woods and Margie Williams.

Memorials made be made Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jasper, Texas, or the American Cancer Society.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
