Easton Garrett Horn, 16, of Hemphill, Texas passed away, along with his mother, Kellee, Friday, June 7, 2019 in Sabine County.

Easton was born October 12, 2002 in Galveston, Texas to Robert Anthony Horn and Kellee Ann Miller. He was a sophomore at West Sabine High School.

Easton was always happy and had the biggest smile. He was considered the class clown at school and everyone loved him. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Particularly fishing. He could fish in his sleep. He and his friend, Rylan, and cousins, Wyatt and Weston had recently started pond fishing, and it was believed there wasn’t a pond in Rosevine that they hadn’t wet a hook in. And then there was the video game, Fort Night that he loved to play with his friends. Easton was full of life and love.

On February 24, 2019, Easton gave his life to the Lord and was baptized at Bethel Baptist Church in Pineland. He loved the youth group and his pastor, Jason.

Easton is survived by his father, Robert Horn and wife, Rita, of Milam, Texas; grandparents, Robert and Chetta Horn of Nederland, Steve Miller of Pineland, and Pam and Doug Hardy of Rosevine; sister, Morgan Horn of Natchitoches, Louisiana and step-sister, Ciara Williams of Nacogdoches, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, James Durso.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Hemphill, Texas.
