A celebration of Lois Wilson’s life, age 81, of Pasadena, Texas will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Homer Cemetery in Jasper, Texas. Lois died August 10, 2019 in Pasadena, Texas.

Lois was a native of Bronson, Texas. She was an amazing mother, Aunt and friend. She touched the lives of many at home, work and wherever she went. She worked for Walgreen’s for 23 years as a store manager and retired not long after her husband’s passing in 2000. After she retired she cooked and took care of her family. She loved to be outside with her plants and her garden. She would make big meals every holiday and everyone was invited. She was a “Mama” to many and a best friend to all.

Lois is survived by her son Jesse Craig and his wife Olga and their children, Michael and Brittney; her daughter Rebecca Bishop and son Joey and daughter Tina Wood and husband Eddie and their children, Blake and Emily.

Lois was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jesse Lee and Leona Burkett; brothers Hal Burkett and wife Linda and Roy Wayne Burkett and her nephew Joey Burkett.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
