A Celebration of Steven Rudolph Parker’s Life, age 67, of Jasper, TX will be 10:00 am, Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Alvin New Hope Church 221 S. Gordon Street in Alvin, TX 77511.

Steven died at his home on June 13, 2019. A native of Orange, TX and former longtime resident of Houston, he lived in Jasper for the past 3 years. After serving the US Army during the Vietnam War, he was a Plant Manager and Homebuilder. He retired from Powell Industries in Houston.

A Christian, he enjoyed building things, riding motorcycles, working in his yard, messing with his chickens, completing word puzzles and playing 42. His best time was spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Parker of Jasper, TX; mother, Pauline Parker of Tennessee; son, Terry Parker and wife Amanda of Liverpool, TX; two stepsons, Dustin Windham and wife Kelly of Houston, TX and Chris Windham and wife Kim of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Holly Lawrence and husband Kris of College Station, TX and Jody Hanning and husband Ken of Galveston, TX; step-daughter, Amber Carr and husband Houston of Houston, TX; two brothers, Bob Parker and wife Marilyn of Conroe, TX and Johnny Parker of Tomball, TX; a sister, Christy Cryer of Tennessee; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
