Perry Elvin Ozment, Jr., 77, of Woodville, passed away, Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at his home in Woodville.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville. Officiating will be Brother Steven Caraway.

Perry, was born September 22, 1941 to Perry Elvin Ozment, Sr. & Leola Hall in Burkeville, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Woodville and was a retired Time Keeper for Brown & Root. He was an easy going and generous man who loved dancing and karaoke.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Leola Ozment, Sr., sister Rita Holmes, brother Jack Ozment, son Jerry G. Reid and daughter Judy K. Valentia.

He is survived by his wife, of 30 years, Dorothy Ozment of Woodville; daughters, Cynthia King and husband Ricky of Silsbee, Tonya Parker of Aurora, MO, and Jean Bednarik of Woodville; son John Wayne Reid of Woodville, 15 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
