Robert Milton Tilley 83 of Orange, Texs passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. A graveside service will be held at Sycamore Cemetery in Burkeville, Texas on Thursday, August 1 at 12:00 p.m.
Robert was one of a kind, who loved his family dearly. He also had a great love for the outdoors. When they lived in Jasper he liked to go hunting and fishing. And he would always be seen on his tractor mowing the fields. Due to health issues they moved back to Orange and you could find him mowing and raking the many leaves that would fall year round, he said. He was always smiling and waving to the neighbors as they passed by. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife of almost 64 years, Bobbie Powell Tilley; son, Jimmy Don Tilley; parents, Beatrice and King Tilley; sister, Nelda Faye Tilley and son-in-law, Bob French.
