Tyler County District Attorney Lucas Babin has announced that a woman has been sentenced to state prison following her conviction in a jury trial on a criminal drug charge. Babin says Kaylee Toler on Wednesday received a 15 year sentence for delivery of methamphetamine.

Babin along with Assistant DA Pat Hardy successfully argued that in October of 2018, Toler had sold 3.5 grams of meth, known as an “eight ball”, and she was arrested as part of an investigation involving Tyler County Precinct 2 Constable John Fuller.

During the sentencing phase of the trial, the prosecution brought forth numerous articles of evidence that showed Toler had continued to sell meth even while she was free from jail on bond following her arrest.
