DEVELOPING STORY - UPDATES ADDED AS THEY COME IN

A woman and a teen have died, and two others were injured in a fiery Friday evening accident in Sabine County. It happened shortly after 5:00 on State Highway 184 near Farm to Market Road 2024, about 6 miles west of Hemphill.

The crash involved only one vehicle, which came to rest next to the highway and was burning when emergency responders arrived.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the 2017 Dodge passenger car was traveling westbound when, for an unknown reason, it left the highway and collided with trees and rolled over.

The deceased have been identified as Kellee Horn, age 40 and her son Easton Horn, 15, both of Hemphill.

DPS says that two other unidentified people in the car were taken to the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport.

The accident is reported to have occurred shortly after 5:00 pm.
