Tuesday morning dawned with near zero visibility in the Jasper area as heavy fog blanketed the area. It was a foggy start to what would soon turn into a beautiful, blue sky, sunlit day.
Ricky Moon captured some amazing photos as a man walked his dog at Sandy Creek Park while the park’s duck residents were having their daily morning meeting at the gazebo and discussing whatever it is that ducks talk about (probably talking about the man’s dog).
Meanwhile, City of Jasper work crews were busy using lift-trucks to take down Christmas decorations from utility poles.
A little further west, airplanes sat tied down on the ramp as Jasper County Bell Field Airport was “socked in” due to the fog.
