As Jasper’s Cooper Davis continues to heal from a broken neck suffered during an early January PBR event in New York City, the PBR has announced that the 2016 bull riding world champion has taken on an honorary role as a coach.

Davis is reportedly now on the coaching staff of Team USA Eagles along with Chase Outlaw, of Hamburg, Arkansas. The team represents PBR in international competition and is now in its fourth year. Currently, they’re preparing for the upcoming 2020 WinStar World Casino and Resort PBR Global Cup USA, presented by Monster Energy.

You can catch PBR team action just a few hours away at AT&T Stadium in Arlington this weekend with bull riding both Saturday and Sunday.

Team USA Eagles is lead by Head Coach Justin McBride along with Assistant Coach J.W. Hart and they’ll receive assistance from Davis and Outlaw. Team mebers are Jess Lockwood, Boudreaux Campbell, Cody Teel, Matt Triplett, Cole Melancon, and Sage Kimzey.
