The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a pair of burglary suspects, one of which was caught on security camera video. The crime occurred either late Sunday or early Monday at the “Twice the Ice” automated ice vending machine, located on Highway 63 West near Recreational Road 255.

According to Lieutenant John Cooper, both suspects were seen on security video, however, only one was visible enough to be recognizable.

He appears to be a white male, and he had a distinctive tattoo on his right arm which appeared to possibly be a large cross.

Lieutenant Cooper and Sheriff Mitchel Newman are asking for anyone who might know who the suspect is to contact the department at 409-384-5417. You do not have to give your name.
