Jasper Police Lieutenant Garrett Foster said on Thursday that so far there has been absolutely no leads in the case involving a City of Jasper work truck that was stolen earlier in the month from the Waste Water Treatment Plant on Marvin Hancock Drive.

Police say that the thief, or thieves, managed to get inside the fence that surrounds the facility and then burglarized several buildings, but nothing was taken.

According to police, they then stole a white 2002 Ford truck with “City of Jasper” emblems on the doors, and it had a large black heavy-duty lift gate on the back.

Meanwhile, Foster said detectives are still early on in their investigation of a stolen travel trailer that occurred earlier this week, and so far they have no leads in that case either.

Police say it is a 2001 Coachman brand, Catalina Lite model, 30’ long bumper-pull. The trailer has a dual-axle, and it’s white with blue accents on the body, and a puma or animal emblem on the back.

If you have any information about either crime, you’re asked to contact Detective Josh Hadnot at 409-384-3471, or any law enforcement agency. You do not have to give your name.
