The Professional Bull Rider's Association has announced that Jasper’s Cooper Davis has a fractured neck, which is apparently occurred during a recent event at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Davis suffered the broken neck after he rode for only 2.79 seconds aboard the bull “Midnight Rock” and was bucked off.

The PBR report said that Davis will likely soon see a neck specialist in the Dallas area. Meanwhile, there’s no word on how long he may be out of competition.

Davis, the 2016 PBR World Champion, is currently ranked 9th in the 2020 standings.
