Jasper County Grand Jurors have indicted a man who was the subject of a manhunt in March a few miles west of Jasper.
42-year-old Jeremy Thomas Busby, of Kirbyville, has been indicted on charges of theft of property, and also theft of material.
Busby is accused of stealing copper wire and also a Polaris side-by-side from property owned by local electrician Billy Minton, Jr.
Busby managed to elude law enforcement officers for two days before he was finally captured. Busby fled from off-duty Game Warden Justin Eddins along Highway 63 West when Eddins said that he spotted Busby on the stolen 4-wheeler.
After recovering the ATV, Eddins said copper wiring and other stolen items were found in it.
