Jasper native Noivas Wright finished fifth on the singing competition television show The Voice on Tuesday evening. This was the second such competition for Noivas, who was born Savion.
In 2015 he competed on American Idol and finished that show in the top 12.
Meanwhile, Gina Miles won season 23 of The Voice in a tight race with runner-up Grace West.
