Cooper Davis’s wife, Kaitlyn Davis, says the 2016 World Champion bullrider is expected to be back in competition in as little as 4 to 8 weeks.
The very encouraging announcement was posted by Kaitlyn on the KJAS Facebook page, and it came just a few days after it was learned that Cooper suffered a broken neck after being thrown off a bull during a PBR event in Madison Square Garden in New York City.
According to PBR officials, Cooper initially had an x-ray, which didn’t reveal the injury. However, PBR said a followup CT scan revealed that he did, indeed, suffer a fractured neck.
Meanwhile, Cooper is reportedly seeing a neck specialist in Dallas and undergoing followup treatment.
Kaitlyn also said that the couple is thankful for prayers, and she said that her husband is doing great.
