For the second time in less than a week, another East Texas school employee has been charged with having an improper relationship with a student. This time it was in Grapeland, located in Houston County about 40 miles northwest of Lufkin.
Law enforcement there says that 23-year-old Kaylee Carrol Parker was arrested on Wednesday and immediately resigned from her job the same day, which was the day after the allegation against her was made.
Parker has now been charged with improper relationship between an educator and student.
A statement by school officials indicated that Parker had been involved with multiple students.
According to Parker’s Facebook page, she listed herself as the head softball coach at Grapeland High School.
