The Texas Department of Public Safety has released updated information after two drivers died in a Tuesday evening accident in Tyler County.

The head-on collision happened on U.S. Highway 69, just north of the Tyler/Hardin County line.

According to DPS Sergeant Stephanie Davis, a 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by Jonathan Collins, 29, of Warren, was northbound when Collins crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound 2013 Dodge passenger vehicle, driven by Ramanda Parker, 49, of Village Mills.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace James Moore.
