Meteorologist Roger Erickson at the National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Thanksgiving week forecast which shows that Southeast Texas is predicted to have a mildly warm Thanksgiving Day, while spotty showers will be possible in Southwest Louisiana.

Meanwhile, it looks like traveling out of town on Wednesday to the north and west will be good, but you may run into some rain to the east and south.

Most of Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas will be dry on Wednesday, while rain will be sweeping across our area and all of Louisiana as a light cool front pushes through.

Thanksgiving Day temperatures are predicted to be mildly warm in the low to mid 70’s.
