Sabine County Sheriff Tom Maddox has been elected and installed as the 2019-2020 President of the Sheriff’s Association of Texas. Maddox recently returned to Sabine County after attending the organization’s 141st annual conference in San Antonio over the weekend.
Maddox is a native of Henderson, and he has lived in Sabine County since the mid 1980’s.
Maddox became a Texas Department of Public Safety State Trooper in 1969, and he was stationed in Sabine County about midway through his 31 year career.
He has served as Sheriff for Sabine County since 2000.
