Four people were injured in a two vehicle auto accident that occurred south of Buna late Friday morning.
Sergeant Stephanie Davis of the Texas Department of Public Safety said the accident happened shortly after 11:00 on Highway 96 at the intersection of Business Highway 96, when a 2008 Saturn, which was traveling west on Business 96, pulled out on Highway 96 in the path of a northbound Ford F-150 pick up truck. driven by driven by 37-year-old Kimberly Davis, of Buna, was traveling westbound Business 96. a Ford F-150 pickup truck, driven by which was northbound on Highway 96, while a 2008 Saturn passenger vehicle,
Davis said the driver of the Saturn, 37 year old Kimberly Davis and her and two of her passengers were taken by ambulance to an area hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, while a 16-year-old passenger in the car was flown from the scene by medical helicopter directly to the hospital.
Davis said the driver of the truck, 45-year-old LeRoy Armealine, of Houston, was not injured.
