Sam Houston State University in Huntsville has announced that a group of volunteer students, staff, and alumni have been busy creating hand-made cloth breathing masks for use during the Coronavirus crisis.

According to school officials, their College of Health Sciences along with the Department of Population Health and Family and Consumer Sciences have been creating the masks for students, faculty, staff, custodians, and administration that are in need.

Organizers say they worked for two days and created about 100 masks. They used unique fabric, some of which was colorful while others featured animals in their design.
