Residents of the Golden Triangle are mourning the death of 58-year-old Laurie Beth Seehusen, of Vidor. She was killed late Thursday afternoon on FM 1131 just north of Vidor when a stolen pickup truck slammed head-on into her car as 23-year-old Kade Orion Davis, of Lumberton, was fleeing from Jasper County Deputies.

Southeast Texans are reaching out to offer their condolences and prayers to the family of a woman struck and killed by a suspect in a stolen truck who crashed into her car.
Laurie Beth Seehusen, 58, died in the crash late Thursday afternoon.
The suspect who crashed into Seehusen was injured and taken to a Beaumont hospital. Justice of the Peace Ben Collins Sr. identifies the suspect as Kade Davis. Collins went to the hospital and says he arraigned Davis on a charge of Evading Detention with a Motor Vehicle out of Jasper County and set bond at $150,000. Additional charges are pending.
The community is offering tremendous support to the family while remembering Laurie Seehusen.
