U.S. Congressman Brian Babin

U.S. Congressional District 36 Representative Dr. Brian Babin (R-Woodville) has announced to constituents that he’s seeking re-election in the 2022 race. Babin first won election to the House of Representatives in 2014, and he’s now seeking his fifth term in Washington D.C.

In an emailed announcement, Babin said “Joe Biden's incompetent leadership and the Radical Socialists in Congress have together unleashed too many problems for me to sit on the sidelines. Instead, I'm keeping up the fight to protect your God-given rights, freedoms, and liberties!”

Babin also addressed several topics that are on the minds of not only Texans, but also people across the country. “Bidenflation has been going up drastically, making prices skyrocket and leaving our economic future unstable. Biden's vaccine tyranny has gone so far that he's trying to take away VA benefits from our brave service members if they don't get the shot. And Democrat negligence at the border has meant crime, drugs, and unvetted illegals entering your neighborhood at a record pace!”, wrote Babin.

So far there’s no word on any other candidates seeking nomination on the GOP or any other ticket.

Babin will be running for the Republican nomination in the March Primary and, barring any others being nominated by the GOP, he’ll appear on the ballot in the November 2022 Mid-Term Election.
