William "Bill" Lawrence, Jr.

We’ve lost Bill Lawrence, Jr. The longtime Angelina River Fire Department firefighter and truck driver passed away suddenly, and unexpectedly, on Wednesday, just six days after he was diagnosed with cancer.

Bill had served a stint as Fire Chief during his many years with the department, and in recent years he was working as a long-haul trucker, and still a volunteer firefighter when at home.

Unfortunately Bill and his wife, Dallas, had no insurance so friends and family have set up a go-fund-me page as they try to raise funds for funeral expenses.
