The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department has made an arrest in multiple burglary cases that occurred at a Jasper business.

According to Chief Deputy Scotty Duncan, the crimes occurred recently at Hollis Tire on Highway 96 in Jasper.

Duncan said Deputy Casey Ryan made an arrest in the case on Monday morning at Premier Recyclers on Highway 190 West in Jasper as the suspect was trying to cash in scrap metal that had been taken in the burglaries. 

The name of the suspect was not immediately available, pending formal charges at arraignment.
