Billboard Magazine is reporting that Woodville native Kree Harrison will be releasing a new album in early 2020. The album, “Chosen Family Tree”, is due out on January 24th and the first single will be a soulful country-rock song called “Get Away With Anything”.
Kree is actually already performing the song on stage during LIVE shows, and she told Billboard that it’s her favorite song to perform.
Chosen Family Tree will be Kree’s second studio album, it follows 2016’s This Old Thing, which peaked at #28 on the U.S. Country Charts and #20 on the U.S. Heat Chart.
Get Away With Anything will be Kree’s fourth single, the most successful of which was All Cried Out in 2013. It was her only charting single thus far, and it peaked at #34 on the U.S. Country Chart.
Many years ago, and at a very young age, Kree was brought to KJAS by her now deceased parents and she blew away a Friday afternoon Rock & Roll Oldies Show audience when she sang LIVE on the air. A few years later, in early 2013, Kree was runner-up on American Idol.
