Funeral services have been set for a mother and son who died in a late Friday afternoon accident in Sabine County. Kellee Ann Horn, 40, and Easton Garrett Horn, 16, both of Hemphill, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash which occurred shortly after 5:00 on Highway 184, about 6 miles west of Hemphill.

Investigating troopers said that Kellee Horn was driving a late model Dodge passenger car westbound when, for an unknown reason, the car went off of the highway, struck trees, and then rolled over. The car then caught on fire.

Troopers said there were two other people in the car and at last word both were undergoing treatment at the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. However, their names were never released.

Funeral services for Kellee and Easton Horn will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Hemphill, directed by Starr Funeral Home.
