A woman has been arrested in Beaumont after police there say she hit a child and two adults with a car, and then fled from the scene on foot. It happened shortly before 7:00 on Wednesday evening in the Oak Trace neighborhood in the west end of Beaumont.

Officers say 21-year-old Kenlie Davis, who currently lives in Beaumont, was driving a KIA passenger car which came to rest in the front yard of a home. According to police, Davis was found and arrested a short time later in the back yard of another nearby home.

Davis has been charged with 3 counts of intoxication assault and 3 counts of failure to stop and render aid. Her bond was set at $120,000.00 and at last word she remained in the Jefferson County Jail.

Meanwhile, the victims continue to undergo treatment. There’s no update on their condition and their names have not yet been released.
