The Texas University Interscholastic League, which is the governing body of academic and athletic competition in Texas, has conducted their bi-annual realignment. Jasper has landed in a new district with some old familiar foes, along with some new ones.

Jasper will be in District 10-4A Division II for at least the next two years and will share the district with Carthage, Center, Madisonville, Rusk, and Shepherd.

Here is where the other schools in our immediate area will be for 2020-2022:

District 10-3A Division I

Kirbyville, Buna, Woodville, East Chambers, Anahuac, Cleveland Tarkington, and Hardin

District 12-3A Division II

Newton, Warren, Hemphill, Kountze, New Waverly, Corrigan-Camden, and Anderson-Shiro

District 12-2A Division II

Burkeville, Evadale, Deweyville, Hull-Daisetta, Sabine Pass, and High Island
