Jasper Memorial Hospital RN Robin Gail Wooten carefully drew a dosage of the Coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021.

Christus Southeast Texas Health System announced on Tuesday that Coronavirus vaccine for the general public will not be available at their hospitals – including Jasper Memorial Hospital - and in this area the only place that they will offer the vaccinations will be at “…a select few CHRISTUS clinics in Beaumont.”

Meanwhile, Christus spokeswoman Nikela Pradier said Tuesday that Christus hospitals, including Jasper Memorial, have now completed phase 1-A of inoculations, meaning that their front-line healthcare workers have now been vaccinated.

For those who want the vaccine, Pradier says for phase 1-B, “…all vaccination appointments are full. Those who are in Phase 1B are encouraged to check back regularly for open appointments, as more vaccine supply becomes available from the state.”

To seek information about appointments, Pradier says you can visit their website, and click on the yellow chat icon to find out if you qualify for a vaccine and to schedule an appointment when openings are available.
