The Jasper County Grand Jury has indicted several individuals charged with numerous felony crimes, including a woman accused of committing a sexual crime with a child, and another woman accused in multiple vehicle thefts.
Bree Marie Ratliff, 18, of Buna, was indicted on a charge of Indecency with a Child/Sexual Contact. The crime is alleged to have occurred in July of 2020 and involved a child less than 17 years of age.
The Grand Jury also indicted three men on four charges related to alleged sex crimes against children.
Dontrelle Mays, 18, of Jasper, was indicted on two counts of Indecency with a Child-Exposing. The crimes are alleged to have occurred on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in 2019 and involved a child less than 17 years of age.
Gerard Xavier Rhodes, 24, of Newton, was indicted on a charge of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. The indictment said the alleged crime occurred in March of 2019 and involved a child less than 14 years of age.
Troy Villamero, also known as Edward Troy Villamero, 37, of Jasper, was indicted on a charge of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Duty to Register for Life/Annually. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety Sex Offender Registry, Villamero was convicted in 2011 on a child sexual assault charge, with the victim listed as a 15-year-old girl. The indictment alleges that Villamero has not complied with his requirement to keep his sex offender information accurate, specifically his address.
Also indicted was 29-year-old Jasper resident Cierra Westbrook. She is charged with two counts of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and one count of Burglary of a Building. Westbrook is accused of stealing a vehicle from Chris Johnson on April 25th, 2020. Three months later on July 5th, Westbrook is accused of burglarizing a building owned by Leatha Cooper. One week later, on July 14th, Westbrook was accused of stealing another vehicle, the latest being owned by John Grissom.
The Grand Jury also indicted the following individuals:
Tyler Wesley Tucker, 29, of Evadale – December 2019 charge of Assault of Family/Household Member-Impeding Breathing/Circulation – Tucker is accused of causing bodily injury to Chelsea Murphy by applying pressure to her throat or neck (choking).
Jason Garrett Lawson, 38, of Beaumont, and Alexander Josef Thornton, 36, of Jasper – April 2019 charges of Theft of Property and February 2019 charge of Theft of Property with 2 or more Previous Convictions – Lawson and Thornton are both accused of stealing a Polaris Ranger XP all-terrain vehicle from Chelsea Hoke in April of 2019. Additionally, Thornton is accused of stealing a laptop computer from Aaron’s Rent-To-Own in Jasper in February 2019, and an article of clothing from the Jasper WalMart in April 2019, after having been convicted of theft in July 2017 in Jefferson County and February 2014 in Montgomery County.
Autumne Lynn Dorris, 37, of Newton – January 2019 charges of Credit/Debit Card Abuse and Forgery of a Financial Instrument – Dorris is accused of using a Wells Fargo Visa credit or debit card belonging to Timothy Manchac without his knowledge or consent, and she’s also accused of writing a $100.00 check to Worldwide Vinyl Repair System on the checking account of Timothy Manchac without his knowledge or consent.
Bobby DeWayne Brumfield, Jr., 46, of Buna – August 2019 charge of Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair – Brumfield is accused of trying to alter, conceal, or destroy a pill bottle during a traffic stop in an alleged effort to impair its availability to be used as evidence.
Justin Elton Key, 35, of Brookeland – August 2020 charge of Burglary of a Habitation – Key is accused of burglarizing the home of Carl Coplen.
Quinton Terrelle Ruso, 22, of Buna – August 2020 charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon – Ruso is accused of being in possession of a firearm after having been convicted in a felony Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle Case in Tyler County in January of 2019.
Kelsey Adena Kemp, 26, of Call – October 2019 charge of Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair – Kemp is accused of trying to alter, destroy, or conceal a crystalline substance during an official proceeding.
Anthony Tyrone Twine, 51, of Jasper – September 2020 charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Twine is accused of using a knife to cut a finger belonging to Gerald Twine.
Jazzlyn Anderson, 25, Daundrea Spikes, 30, and Leshunae Lane, 31, all of Jasper – November 2018 charges of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity – The trio is accused of conspiring in a case of Credit/Debit Card Abuse.

Orville Calvert, 43, of Woodville - September 2019 - Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
Jeremy Carter, 41, of Kirbyville - October 2019 - Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
Kelsey Adena Kemp, 26, of Call - October 2019 - Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
An indictment by the Grand Jury does not mean that the persons named are guilty of any crime, but instead only indicates that the jurors felt that enough evidence existed in each case to merit a trial.
