Jasper Police are investigating an early Thursday morning burglary of a cell phone business. Lieutenant Garrett Foster says it happened between 3:30 and 4:15 at Cricket Wireless, located at 835 West Gibson Street.
According to Foster, two suspects used a brick to break into the glass door. However, Foster said they were apparently scared off when the store’s burglar alarm began to sound and they ran out.
A security camera video of the crime showed the suspects only getting a few feet inside the store and staying only about 5 seconds before they ran back out. It didn’t appear that they took any items.
