HOLIDAY SAFETY: This week starts the holiday season. I hope everyone make sure to think safety first, second and always as we go about our personal travels and family activities.

Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) answered 59 calls to service last week from November 15th to November 21st, 2021. We currently have 17 inmates in the following Jails, 8 housed in Newton, and 9 housed in Jasper. Last week there were 2 individuals booked into the Jail.
