Wretha Rawls-Thomas and the Pillars of the Community organization have announced that they will once again sponsor free haircuts for kids as they prepare to go back to school.

A mobile barber shop will be set up in front of KJAS at 765 Hemphill Street on Wednesday, August 21st and Thursday, August 22nd.

The haircuts will be given each day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

There will be free hot dogs along with a "Fun In The Sun" water slide donated by Dewayne Armstrong.

This is the third year that the Pillars of the Community has held the free haircut event, and the second year that it will last two full days.
