Things did not go well for Jasper in Hudson on Tuesday night, hitting or fielding.
The final was 15-0 Hudson in 5 innings. Jasper had only 2 hits and way to many errors. Jasper went up and down quickly in the top of the first inning.
Coach Smith had to use four pitchers in the first inning. The 4th pitcher, Cesar Gonzalez finally got the third out, but not before Hudson had scored 5 runs. In the second inning Ben Stover hit a single with 2 outs, but Jasper could not bring him around to score. In the bottom of the second inning Hudson scored more runs, while Jasper could get nothing going. Jasper's other hit came in the third inning a single by Cayne Ueckert, but he was left on base. One bright spot, Jasper batters struck out only 3 times...
The Bulldog J.V. won 5-4. They are 2-0 in district.
Jasper will be at home Friday night to take on Carthage, game time 7pm.
