Detectives with the Jasper Police Department are asking for help from the community. Officers with the Department took a report on December 6th at 5:00 a.m. of an allegedly stolen vehicle from a residence on North Austin Street in Jasper, Texas. The owner stated that the last time he saw the vehicle was on December 5th at 9:00 p.m. The vehicle is a 2004 Burgundy Chevrolet Tahoe with 26 inch chrome rims and tires (See Picture).
The vehicle was found the next day on December 7th at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the Donahue Hunting Club, which is in the Bilouxi Community off of FM 1416 and CR 4095 in Newton County. The 26" inch rims were removed, along with several other items from the vehicle.
If you have any information, or may have purchased some of the items from the vehicle, you are urged to contact Detective Foster at 409-383-6179. You will not be charged in the crime if you purchased some of the parts off the vehicle. You also do not have to provide your name if you do not want to.
