In less than thirty days it will be election day and as always, we urge everyone to get out and vote. The last day to register is October 29th. Please get with your County Clerk about mail in ballots, early voting and polling places. Every vote counts, more especially in your local races as you look at all the experience, values, qualifications each candidate has. Just remember this, if you don’t get out and vote, then you shouldn’t gripe about the outcome that is set forth.

We had a burglary on County Road 642 where two guns and two cell phones were taken. We had a lot of batteries stolen from a business on County Road 296. The batteries were later found at a recycling business and now charges are being filed.

We also had a shed broken into where some yard equipment was stolen from a church building. We are doing extra patrol in the area but if you see anything going on any buildings at a strange time, please call and report it. We are asking for the public’s help as we rely on the eyes and ears of the neighbors.

We have 114 in jail today. Weatherman says it will cool off this week, maybe it will help with these mosquitos as they are bad. If you need us call us, and if you see anything please report it.
