Newton County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Cynthia Hall says the department has taken a report on a missing man, and they’re asking the public to help them to keep an eye out for him. According to information obtained by KJAS News from Hall and also family members, 57-year-old Ezra W. Carson, Jr. was last seen on Saturday, September 8th at a relative’s house on Farm to Market Road 2626.

Carson is described as being a white male with black hair, dark eyes and gray facial hair, he stands 5’7” and weighs approximately 130 pounds.

He has a “MOM” tattoo and a “CHIEF” tattoo on his arms.
